Waverly Brook

Waverly Brook Strickland is costume designer who has worked with a variety of styles such as new works, children theatre, dance, and musical theatre. She has worked on shows such as Pippin, Madagascar: A Musical Adventure, and A Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time. Waverly has worked for companies such at The Old Globe Theatre in San Diego, CA and Playhouse on the Square in Memphis, TN.

Waverly believes that knowing how to make things helps you become a better designer. Having the knowledge of making helps her communicate with her team about ideas. In the reverse, the knowledge of design helps her have an aesthetic eye when building for another designer.

She received her Masters in Fine Arts from San Diego State University in Costume Design and Technology and her Bachelors in Arts from College of Charleston.
